What is Coffin Club In Margaret's Memory?

What began as a private Facebook group created by Louise has developed into a Community Interest Company (CIC) where the subjects of death, dying, grief, loss and change are not taboo.

 

The aim of the group is to open conversations around these often sensitive subjects in an effort to normalise the chat.

​

Death will touch every one of us, and in Louise's experience, she knew so little about it that when her mum, Margaret, died she struggled with her mental health.

 

If we all knew a bit more about death, and the choices we have surrounding dying and our funerals, it would be beneficial.

​

It is CCIMM's aim to lead conversations, educate, support and work in partnership with others to ensure that we begin to break down this taboo.
